Falling Home

Creative Writing

The globe is on your back, but you don't have to carry it

Let go, let its gravity stretch your body into the clouds
Lay there, lay on the crevices of the water nests that float above
Rest, let your body become a bird that cannot fly but can sleep
The winds will catch you

Heat yourself in the rays of the sky oven
Twirl, you wouldn't want to be dried unevenly
Let the mountain curves roll you up
The winds will catch you

Don't lift yourself, the stones can walk themselves
Rock to the beat of the waves
Close your eyes and
Panic

The winds won't catch you
You are falling home
