Imagine if the cars in the streets dissolved into the pavement
like do the piles of snow towering over parking lots under a spring sun.
Imagine if the trees reclaimed the concrete cities
     peering through every window undone.
Imagine if the hills turned to mountains bringing the houses of suburbia
to meet like an embrace after a twenty-hour day.
Imagine if every white wall was ripped
     to reveal the pastels underlaid.
Imagine if every plastic piece of crap was incinerated,
melting and sticking to school tables like ancient gum boulders.
Imagine if the jewels on the crown of the Queen,
shattered into ten thousand spears piercing her neck and shoulders.
